Nepal | Mera Peak 6’476m | Round trip in the Himalayas with Swiss mountain guide & local crew
Experience the Himalayas intensively and climb your first 6,000-metre peak with maximum safety, perfect acclimatisation and a view that is second to none.
At 6476 metres, Mera Peak is the highest officially permitted trekking peak in Nepal and is considered one of the most scenic mountains in the world. The summit offers an overwhelming panorama of five eight-thousanders: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kangchenjunga.
Technically, the ascent is not particularly difficult, but the height demands respect. This is exactly where our round tour comes in. Thanks to a slow and well thought-out altitude build-up and a proven acclimatisation concept, we create the ideal conditions for a successful ascent. You will be accompanied by a Swiss mountain guide and experienced climbing Sherpas, who will guide you safely and professionally through this adventure.
We deliberately avoid the flight to Hinku Valley and approach the mountain on foot. This gives us valuable time for acclimatisation, reduces risks and allows us to experience authentic Nepal off the beaten track. Our route takes us through the remote Hinku Valley and the Makalu-Barun National Park - one of the wildest and most impressive regions in the country.
This expedition is aimed at ambitious mountain hikers who want to take the next step: towards high alpine mountaineering over 6000 metres - professionally accompanied and as a real experience that goes far beyond the summit.
