Engelberg is one of the most legendary freeride destinations in Switzerland. With the fresh new snow that we will be getting over the next few days, we can enjoy playful forest descents and wide slopes for a varied day in deep snow. Depending on the conditions, we start the day at Brunni. We often find the best snow and ideal conditions in the sheltered, contrasting forest runs, especially if visibility is still limited. We find flowing lines between the trees. As soon as the conditions allow, we switch to Titlis. The centrepiece of Engelberg freeriding awaits us here: large alpine slopes, long descents and impressive lines in high alpine terrain. With our local mountain guide, you will be out and about exactly where the snow is best and the conditions are safe. He will show you his personal favourite area. Our aim is to optimise the day to suit the current conditions and get the most out of the terrain. Safety, fun and the shared experience take centre stage.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet at 8.30 am in Engelberg, at the valley station of the Titlis Xpress.
We will be travelling in the Brunni and Titlis area (depending on the conditions). You will discover his favourite freeride area together with Fabian. He will guide you to great spots and flowing lines. The day promises plenty of fresh powder snow and deep winter conditions.
We end the day together in the valley at around 4 pm.
Requirements
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Condition for an extensive freeride day in deep snow.
- Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are experienced.
Price and services
- CHF 225.-
- Small group with 4 - 6 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
